ABOUT ME

I am an individual therapist with a background in clinical social work and years of experience working with patients throughout the New York City area. I completed my Masters and PhD in Social Work at Yeshiva University. During graduate school, I completed a predoctoral internship at an alternate placement school for 16-21 year olds, followed by a separate internship at a residential treatment facility for young adults. After receiving my LMSW, I worked for multiple non-profit organizations, such as a family shelter system, an intensive outpatient substance use program, an Office of Mental Health clinic, and an outpatient hospital facility focusing on short-term individual therapy. 

While I have worked with patients from all walks of life, I specialize in therapy with adolescents, young adults, and working adults who suffer from mood disorders and trauma. My research has focused on the experience of therapists' working with adolescents in therapeutic schools during the Covid-19 pandemic. I enjoy helping this population reach their full potential and discover who they truly are.
